Howdy all from Scary Shari! :) I'm an eclectic, eccentric 30-something Californian who loves writing, meeting/making friends, learning new things and having fun -- which is probably why I'm at Live Journal! I'm also very open-minded, liberal, tolerant, patient, optimistic, idealistic, empathic, generous, silly, festive and loyal.
I could ramble endlessly in this biography, but if you want to read a meandering missive, you can read my Journal itself! *grin* Instead, I'll just encourage you to look at my Interests list below. They're all things that either (1) I know about and am very interested in; (2) I don't know enough about but am interested to learn more; or (3) I have a connection to in some way (i.e. I have a certain condition, or have a family member or friend with a certain condition)

I will most likely add you right back! :) Then you can see the approximately 33% of Friends-Only entries, along with the regular ones. People who are narrow-minded, however, need not apply. I'm tolerant of just about everything but INTOLERANCE! So if you are the type of person who thinks everyone is wrong whose beliefs don't agree with your beliefs, or if you pre-judge people based on gender, race, ethnicity, religion, spiritualty, sexual orientation, disability, etc., I cordially invite you to LEAVE.
