When was the last time you went out to eat?
Where did you go? What did you order?

Can I see a picture of you with your hair up? (in a bun, twist, etc.)

Do you know of any good websites with advice on moving out on your own for the first time? I'm looking for a good collection of roommate etiquette, how to make the most of your ramen, things of that nature. Thanks :)

mirrors are retarded

  • May. 17th, 2008 at 12:52 PM

I know a size 5 is not fat, but I used to be a 3...and now my 5's are feeling a bit snug at times.

Ick, I hate bitching about weight. I've always been a believer that if you want to change something the only way to do it is to get off your ass and change it, but I can't seem to get off my ass.

I have a gym right across the street. I have no friends/social life so it's not like I do anything, but I'm still sitting around and growing blubber like it's a factory. I hate looking in the mirror because I feel gross every time I do, like I'm getting more and more deformed each time. My corset tops barely fit anymore, I'm too self conscious to wear just a tank top or tee shirt because I hate my arms, and I'll NEVER even CONSIDER a skirt or shorts. Walking to the library to use the internet is the extent of me moving during the day, which is ridiculously sad considering I used to ride horses, run, climb buildings, and do other crazy stuff almost everyday.

I hate what I'm turning into, but I have no motivation to go do something about it. I have no friends, or significant other to impress, and/or I'm not going out anywhere anymore. Other people are the only reason I've ever bothered to keep some maintenance on myself. No matter how thin I get, or what clothes I buy, or how I get my hair cut, nothing will make me feel good about myself. I rely on other people for that, and now  that I don't have anyone, I just can't seem to care.

Where is a good place (online) to buy cell phones at a retail price, not with plans or service. I already have Sprint and my phone is broken and I'm not eligible for an upgrade yet.

Also, I don't know anything about cell phones and such, what does an unlocked phone mean? Do I need a certain kind of phone to be compatible with my Sprint provider? The phone I'm looking at specifically is the Motorola L6.

Another version of The Disappearance of Heather Alexander is on p8 of the current issue of Columbus' Outlook Weekly, just in time for MARCON.

The website has the current issue available via a flash doohicky and PDF.

I know the basics, but I was wondering if there are any diseases that can be transfered via surfaces between the two? I'm mostly concerned about them being able to share toys and play areas.

What is the last thing to really annoy you?

My Red Wings are losing at the moment and I am really annoyed that I am not going to be able to watch the whole game because of work...

What is something you absolutely love about the weather right now.

It is sunny and windy, but it looks so beautiful and warm out right now!

What are some jobs that involve heights, and are not too recent? (e.g. chimney-sweeping, washing windows, being a steeplejack...)

Also, if it (your answer to the first question) involves construction is it too physically demanding?

And would you try any of these?

EDIT: by "not too recent" I mean that they have been around for a while, as opposed to some recent and ultra high-tech (no pun intended) jobs.

Have you ever written to somebody who has publicly criticized a performer/artist who you really liked?

If so, was the criticism recent?

Am I nuts for writing to a guy a couple of weeks ago, who made some assumptions and wrote negatively of Danny Elfman and his apparent lack of ability....in like 1990?

I wasn't going to pick a fight with him or anything, I was curious if he felt the same way

What are some social things you are great at?

I can get along with almost everyone.

What are some social things you are not so great at?

I am absolutely helpless over the phone. I am terrible at starting phone conversations.

In general, what are some things you need to work on?

I need to learn how to tell if someone is really my friend or not.

Will you spill your guts for me about whatever you're feeling right now?

TQC, why won't Carlos Mencia just drop off the face of the planet? What did humanity do to deserve this?

What celebrity, in your opinion, just needs to STFU already? Why do they need to do so?

Best Feed? (dry food)

  • May. 17th, 2008 at 11:27 AM
I apologize if this has been asked before but I'm new to rat ownership (will be at least) and want to do all I can for my future ratties.

I've been reading and I've come across a few different types of feeds. But I'm still confused as to which one is the best. Does anyone swear by one type of feed or maybe a mixture?

I guess here are a few questions you can answer....please?

Best feed for these situations...

- cheapest feed
- easiest feed
- high end feed

got any of this stuff???

what is a free fall sensor? i'm finally getting a new laptop and a couple of the hard drive options say "free fall sensor". i googled it but all i found were prices and stuff. my guess is that it doesn't detect that your laptop is free falling and deploys an airbag or something.

BONUS QUESTION: what are you listening to RIGHT NOW?
